FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a seat?

Each Train at Home run takes a limited number of miners at a time. A seat is one of those places. A run with a seat left can take another miner; when a run is full, new miners wait in a queue.

Why do seats open?

A seat opens when a miner leaves a run, for instance because it stopped or went offline. It closes again when another miner takes the place, which is why this page tracks how often seats open and how long they stay open.

How does the alert work?

Create a subnera account, turn on the seat-open alert and choose Telegram or email. When a run you follow gets a seat, we send you a message. The seat can be taken within minutes, so the alert tells you where to look; it does not reserve anything.
